It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maura Jane Glancy of Scituate, Massachusetts, born in Milton, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 20, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Moran and Frank Moran; her husband Michael; and her sister Charlene. She is survived by: her children, Samantha, Carly and Michael; her brother Michael Moran (Gayle) of Milton Ma; and her nephew Matthew Moran of Boston.

“Samantha, Carly and Michael - I was so shocked & saddened to learn of your mom' passing. For you to have lost both parents so early is just heartbreaking. Even though we hadn't stayed in touch, I heard about your mom all the time from folks who'd signed up for various Rec. Center activities, & knew she was doing an awesome job there. I remember her jovial personality & great laugh.You can tell by the many comments on Scituate Monthly that she was deeply loved & was clearly a Scituate treasure.”
