Mary Anne Dalton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Anne Dalton of Scituate, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 27, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Faherty and Anne Faherty (King); her children, Deborah A. Donovan and John W. Dalton III; and her siblings, Joseph Flaherty (Dottie), Michael Faherty (Pat), Robert Flaherty (Catherine), Richard Faherty and Margaret Faherty.
She is survived by: her husband John William Dalton Jr.; her daughter Susan M. Cassidy (Jim) of South Weymouth; her grandchildren, Meaghan Kelly (Tom) of Norton, James Cassidy (Nicole) of Hingham and Colleen Reilley (Zack) of Abington; and her great grandchildren, Thomas, Mary, Richard, Claire Kelly, Nora, Isla and Clara Cassidy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home (382 First Parish Rd, Scituate, MA 02066). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Mary of the Nativity Church (1 Kent St, Scituate, MA 02066).
