In the vast expanse of eternity, Marjorie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Marjorie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her spouses, Joseph J. Shortall of Scituate and Kerry A. Youngstrom of Pembroke; and her parents, Paul L. Wylde and Marion I. Wylde (Wurhurst). She is survived by: her family, Dianne P. O'Brien of South Weymouth, James F. Shortall of Hampton and Scott M. Youngstrom of Whitman. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, two nieces and one grandniece.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home (382 First Parish Rd, Scituate, MA 02066). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Luke's Episcopal Church (465 First Parish Rd, Scituate, MA 02066).
