She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Carmichael (Halligan) and Francis X. "Barney" Carmichael; and her siblings, Ginny Carmichael of Manchester, NH, Elaine Carmichael of Jamaica Plain, Deborah Carmichael of Boston, Richard Carmichael (Joanne) of Hudson, Patricia Carmichael of Walpole, John, Paul, Francis and Margaret. She is also survived by family members and many, many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home (456 High St, Dedham, MA 02026). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption (420 High St, Dedham, MA 02026).
In recognition of being the beloved "Nonna" to her granddog Tessie, donations in Marion's memory may be made to the Scituate Animal Shelter or MSPCA.
