He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hugh McArdle and Mary McArdle; his wife Anna Marie Norton of Boston; his children, Catherine Bowes (Robert), Paula McArdle (Chris Vondrasek), Ellen Chambers (John), Maura McArdle and Kevin McArdle; his grandchildren, Meghan, Liam Bowes, Aidan, Padric and Colleen Chambers; his sisters, Jean White and Virginia Hartin; and his friend Jack Devereaux.
