He is survived by: his parent Beverly Startzell; his children, Kennan Ross Startzell Jr. of Quincy, Hayden Startzell, Nolan Startzell of Scituate and Allison Ludlow Startzell; and his brothers, James Startzell of Yardley and Stanley Startzell of Chilmark.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Golsnold on Cape Cod or Father Bills Place in Quincy.
