It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John William Gainey of Scituate, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gainey and Marguerite Gainey (Cuff); his siblings, Mary Lou (Izzo) and James Gainey; and his wife Marguerite "Maggie" (Toland).
He is survived by: his sister Lorraine (LaPlume); his sons, John (Dawn Marie) of Scituate, MA and Matt (Stacey) of Plymouth, MA; his stepson Michael (Lindsay) of Bozeman, MT.; and his grandsons, Quinn, Luca, Mason and KitKats of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
