With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Bailey of Scituate, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 20, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Bailey and Margaret Bailey (O'Connell); and his sons, Paul Bailey and John Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Frances A. Bailey (O'Rourke); his sons, James Bailey of Plymouth and Peter Bailey of Mashpee; and his sister Virginia Smith of Weymouth. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jim's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society.
