She was predeceased by: her spouse Garret F. VanWart; her parents, Charles T. Heberle, Jr. and Bertha Hay Heberle; and her sister Nancy H. Grayson. She is survived by: her children, Bruce G. VanWart (Maya) of Brownfield, ME, Ray W. VanWart (Victoria) of Scituate, MA and Beth V. Sortin (Philip) of Sandisfield, MA.; her siblings, Margaret H. Huff (Donald) of McLean, VA and Charles T. Heberle III of Corrales, NM; and her granddaughter Laurel of Austin, TX. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
