It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Joseph O'Brien of Scituate, Massachusetts, born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 26, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brothers, Robert, John (Puddy) and William Murphy; and his parents, George F. O'Brien and Dorothy O'Brien (Gerstel).

He is survived by: his wife Laura (Carey); his son Michael (Lisa) of East Greenwich, RI.; his grandsons, Brendan, Jackson O'Brien and Tyler Sampson; and his sister Margaret Hirtle of Weymouth. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
