He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Manning, (Spada) and George Manning, Sr.; and his siblings, Ann and William (Bill). He is survived by: his wife Lee Ann Murphy of Scituate; his sons, Patrick and Brian; and his grandchildren, Clare and Emma.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Closing the Gap Foundation.
