Elizabeth Cooney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Cooney of Scituate, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 28, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Leonard and Margaret Leonard (Cronin); her daughter Judith Cooney Joseph; and her brother Howard C. Leonard, III. She is survived by: her children, Michael Cooney (Lisa) of Norwell, Emily Kyriakides (Teddy) of Duxbury, Elizabeth Cooney of Wells, ME, Garrett Cooney (Cathie) of Scituate, Peter Cooney, Jr. (Diane) of Scituate, Laura Carroll (Joe) of Scituate, Jenna Dann (Jared) of Norwell and Andrew Cooney of Pembroke; and her mother-in-law Lucille Leonard. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
