He was predeceased by: his former wife Linda Alger (Sanders); and his brothers, Harvey and John Alger. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Alger (Hicks); his children, Kimberly (Mark Lynch), Todd (Sandra) and Tracy Coffman (Mark); his grandchildren, Christina Stanley, Wade Stanley, Katharine Alger, Nico Coffman Carrens and Sidney Coffman; his great grandchildren, Matthew Stanley and Remington Stanley; his stepchildren, Sara Douglas (Fred) and Adam Hicks (Jo Ann); his stepgrandchildren, Trey, Fallon, Charlotte Douglas and John; and his stepsons, Charles and Michael Hicks. He is also survived by niece and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Trinitarian Congregational Church of Scituate (381 Country Way, Scituate, MA 02066).
