He was predeceased by: his wife Rita G. English; and his parents, Thomas English and Mollie English. He is survived by: his children, Colleen E. DeGrilla (Stephen) of Bermuda, Kelly E. Walsh (Edward) of Scituate and Brian P. English; his former wife Rose; his pet Tipperary of North Eastham; his grandchildren, Rosemarie, Molly and Aidan Walsh of Scituate; and his pets, Diamond and Chica.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the MS Society or the Scituate Animal Shelter.
