It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catarina Lopes of Scituate, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 16, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Christiano Lopes and Maria Lopes. She is survived by: her spouse Amadeu Fernades; her children, Abel Lopes of Scituate, Lisa Lopes of Brockton, Christina Lopes of Scituate and Catarina (Ismael Ramos) of Dorchester; her grandchildren, Abel Jr., Jayden, Jayanna, Anthony, Ava, Adrian, Justin and Julissa; her siblings, Alfred (Zita Lopes) of Scituate, Delfino (Maria Lopes) of Scituate, Delfina Lopes of Cape Verde and Theresa Lopes of Cape Verde; and her sister-in-law Regina Lopes. She is also survived by nephew's, God children.
