She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin and Mary H. Rodrigues (Perry); and her brother Benjamin. She is survived by: her husband John Monteiro Jr.; her children, Lauri Ann Lopes, Joseph M. "Wolf" Lopes Jr. (Tracy), Adelle M. "Kitty" Lopes and John Monteiro III; her stepchildren, Anna Monteiro-Roderick (Ricky), Beverly "Jean" Monteiro-Cohen (Anthony) and Steve Fernandes (Penny); and her siblings, Robert Rodrigues (Linda) of Marshfield, Dorothea Corcoran of Braintree, Nelson, Roland, Arthur, Joyce Rodrigues and Margaret Austin. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Caroline's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
