He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Bent, Jr. and Agnes Bent (Nevin). He is survived by: his wife Judith Bent (Bell); his children, Douglas Bent (Jennifer) of Andover, NH, Stephen Bent (Kim) of North Brookfield, MA and Elizabeth Colón (Travis) of Portsmouth, VA.; his grandchildren, Maggie Bent of Boston, MA, Matthew and Katie Bent of Andover, NH; his stepgrandchildren, Steven Ahearn of Hardwick, MA, Colleen Ahearn of Worcester, MA and Kayden Ahearn; his sisters, Melissa Matisoff (Larry) of Milton, MA and Bettejane Hanford (Marius) of Moran, WY; and his brothers-in-law, Andrew Bell (Janice) of Freehold, NJ and David Bell (Susan) of Lakeville, MA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
