She was predeceased by: her parents, Barbara Brooks Smyth and James Smyth. She is survived by: her spouse Harvard (Robert Joyce Spence); and her children, Robert J. Spence, Jr. (Maura) of Scituate, William F. (Susan Spence), Richard H. (Jeanne Spence), Carole S. (Michael Mullen), Barbara S. (Peter Roberts) and Susan S. (Robert Brosnan). She is also survived by her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
