He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Bowker and Arnold Bowker; his wife Alice Marie Bowker; his siblings, Lawrence, Christopher (Virginia) and Cornelia Shea; and his brother-in-law George Maloney.
He is survived by: his sister Faith E. Maloney; his children, Kevin, Philip, Stephen and Julianne Bowker (Dominic Fabri); his grandsons, Miles and Victor Bowker; and also Fiona Treacy (Dan Armstrong). He is also survived by many in-laws and nieces and nephews.
