She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Swift and Nellie Swift (Brown). She is survived by: her husband Wesley H. Briggs, Jr.; her daughter Karyn Stavaski (Paul) of Cheshire; and her siblings, Cynthia Ryan of Florida and Dean Swift (Frances) of Arizona. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
