He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas J. McGovern. He is survived by: his mother Ann L. McGovern (Dineen); his wife Rosemary McGovern (Castagnino); his daughter Mary McGovern Kurth (Dana) of Newton; his grandchildren, Tyler, Alec and Lillian; and his brothers, Daniel McGovern (Patricia) of Saugus, Christopher McGovern (Timothy Corrinet) of Worcester and Matthew McGovern of Peabody. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
