He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Italiano and Ida Italiano (Martello); his son Richard Italiano Jr.; and his brothers, Robert Italiano and Ronald Italiano.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne M. Italiano (Tulipani); his children, Rachel Sorrentino of Saugus and Ronald Italiano (Kristin); his daughter-in-law Kerry Italiano (Donohue) of Saugus; his grandchildren, Alessandra, Joseph, Anthony Sorrentino, Julia, Stephen, Jack Italiano, Kristina and Katelyn Italiano; and his great grandchild Zahtar Santos.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Richard's memory, which may be made to the Dana-Faber Cancer Institute.
