He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Lorna Casella (Erskine); his children, Philp R. Casella (Paula) of Saugus, Valerie Casella (Mark Salsman) of Danvers and Gary Casella (Kim) of Saugus; his grandchildren, Zachary Salsman (Catherine), Courtney Casella (Myles Hickey) and Curtis Casella; his parents, Joseph Casella and Frances Casella (Fulco); and his siblings, Josephine Tappe, Joseph Casella (Sandra) of Saugus, Bernard Casella of Revere and Arthur Casella. He was also cherished by many nieces & nephews.
