She was predeceased by: her husband William J. Staples; her parents, Norm Mott Brown and Virginia G. Brown (Stratton); and her sister Eleanor. She is survived by: her son Jarrod Staples of Stoneham; her brothers, George Brown of Danvers and William "Bill" Brown of Saugus; and her nieces and nephews, Alex Brown, Donna Mullaney and Laurie Kelly.
