Michael E. Celata Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael E. Celata (Saugus, Massachusetts), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 28, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Corinne Celata (Bianco); his parents, Alfonso Celata and Esther Celata (DeLuca); and his sister Josephine Campo (Celata). He is survived by: his children, Michael A. Celata (Cynthia Warren) of Metairie, LA, Cindy Freitas (Ken) of West Newbury and Lori Sheridan (Steve) of Redondo Beach, CA; his grandchildren, Cara, James Freitas, Olivia, Isabel Celata, Grant and Bridget Sheridan; and his brother-in-law James Bianco, Jr. (Karen) of Gilford, NH.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 529 Lincoln Ave., SAUGUS on Thursday from 4-7 p. m. Adhering to the mandate of the state and CDC guidelines, face coverings and proper social distancing will be required.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Celata.
