He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Graney. He is survived by: his children, Mark Graney (Sandra Harris-Graney), Kristine Graney Foye (Robert Foye) and Sean Graney (Vanessa Stalling); his grandchildren, Trevor Graney, Hannah Graney and Emma Graney; his siblings, William Graney (Joy), Cheryl Graney, Kevin Graney and Julia Lima; and his close friend Patricia Rosa.
