We are sad to announce that on October 16, 2022, at the age of 82, Martha E. (Horgan) Varney of Saugus, Massachusetts, born in Everett, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Horgan and Martha Horgan (Pratt); and her brother Philip Horgan. She is survived by: her husband Charles E. Varney; her children, Edward Varney, Wynn Varney, Scott Varney of Chelmsford and Maryellen Prime of Saugus; and her sister Patricia Horgan of Lynn. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Martha's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org.
