He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Maes and Marie Maes (Bonin). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen (O'Hearn); his children, Christopher Maes (Khena) of Long Beach, CA, Melissa Maes (Randy) of Haverhill and Jonathan Maes of Saugus; his grandchildren, Sam, Juliette, Eli and Emma; his siblings, Charles Maes (Mary Ellen Gil), Stephen Maes (Candace), Judy Mooney (Alan), Thomas, Michael and Raymond Maes; his siblings-in-law, Carol Brown, Teda Maes, Pat O'Hearn and Bob O'Hearn (Rhonda); and his friend Joseph Rotondo. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
