He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Hamilton Sr. and Hazel M. Hamilton (Adams). He is survived by: his children, Melissa Hamilton of Saugus and James Hamilton (Michele) of Billerica; his grandchildren, Christopher "CJ" Hamilton, Kiersten and Brianna Hamilton; and his siblings, Judith H. Granara (John) of Medford, Richard Hamilton (Christine) of Medford and Dale Hamilton-Powers (late John J. Powers) of Falmouth. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
