He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth A. Merritt (Cowhig). He is survived by: his children, Michael Merritt of Grafton, NH and Krista Merritt (Pete Kouis) of Gaithersburg, MD.; his grandsons, Christopher and Patrick; his great grandchildren, Angelina and Sophia; and his goddaughter Jacquelyn Jensen. He is also survived by relatives & friends.
