We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2024, at the age of 83, Janice L. (Melanson) Long of Saugus, Massachusetts, born in Melrose, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Melanson and Edna Melanson-Danna (Hogquist); and her brothers, William Burnham, Robert Burnham and Richard Burnham.

She is survived by: her husband William D. Long; her children, William D. Long, Jr. of Saugus and Cheryl DeSimone (Anthony) of Wakefield; her grandchildren, Andrew, Christian, Alana and Alyssa; and her sister Joanne Abric.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Janice's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org.
