Linnett Jr. of Saugus, Massachusetts, born in South Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. and Mary A. Linnett (Morrissey); and his sisters, Margaret Hanley and Carol Berg. He is survived by: his wife Elsie M. (Ramsey); his daughter Carolyn M. Gibbs (Ralph) of Saugus; his grandchildren, Christian, Nathan and William; and his sisters, Mary Young of South Boston and Anne Billotte of South Boston.

In lieu of flowers, donations in James's name may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, c/o Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Summer St., Saugus, MA 01906.
