It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Merrill of Saugus, Massachusetts, born in Malden, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie E. Merrill and Dorothy Merrill (Ivaney); and his sibling Leslie E. Merrill. He is survived by: his wife Mary E. (Conti); his child Andrea Bell (Mark) of Saugus; his grandsons, Matthew and Jonathan Bell; and his siblings-in-law, Joanne Panzini and Joseph Conti. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Contributions in Jim's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be sincerely appreciated.
