We are sad to announce that on July 22, 2022, at the age of 93, George James Velkos of Saugus, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his children, Mary Ali (Tarek) and Evvie Makkis; and his siblings-in-law, Niki Petropoulos, Fune Linardakis, Joanna Vasilopolou (Triantifilios) and Helen Papadopoulos. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations in his memory may be made to the above-named church.
