He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Michael Garrity (Kara) of Braintree, David Garrity of Saugus, Jeff Garrity (Suzi) of South Carolina and Cheryl Doby; his son-in-law Marcus of Woburn; his sons, Robert Smith and John Smith; his siblings, Linda Gately, William Garrity and Helen "Honey" Garrity; and his grandchildren, Crystal, Spencer, John, Steven, Marcus, Courtney, Matthew, Sam and Kelcey.
