It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Varrone Jr. of Saugus, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 12, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred "Champ" and Janina Varone (Rostkowski); his great grandchild Vincent, Jr.; and his sister Mary Ciaramaglia. He is survived by: his wife Marie Varone (Mazzulli); his children, Michael Varone (Carol) of Peabody and Susan Cole (Scott) of Amesbury; his grandchildren, Nicole (Vinny), Michael (Sarah), Chelsey (Danny) and Morgan; his great grandchild Leo; and his brothers, Alan Varone of Saugus and Peter Varone of Topsfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
