He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Bonita and Della Bonita (Salus); and his son Jerry DeSito. He is survived by: his wife Elinore Bonita (Stanley); his children, Richard DeSito (Sharon), John Phelan, Scott Phelan (Tricia) of Saugus, Karen Phelan, Janet Jones, Elaine Tilley (Robert) and Debbie Kelly (Danny) of Saugus; and his sisters, Mary Rose Davis and Kay Ciampi of Revere. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
