He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Whyte and Ursula Whyte (Locke); his wife Doris M. Whyte (Lovett); his daughter Nancy Maher; his great grandchild Evan Baldi; and his sister Phyllis LaVigueur.
He is survived by: his children, Christina Baldi of Saugus and Barry Whyte; his close friend Marie Roy of Lynnfield; his grandchildren, Eric Baldi, Melissa Baldi, Michelle Maher, Jessica Bloomer, Christopher Maher, Justin Maher, Michael Whyte and Lindsay Hanson; his great grandchildren, Danielle, Colleen, Thomas, Joseph, Avery, Christian, Jack, Liam and Cora; and his siblings, Kathleen Herman of Melrose, Harry Whyte and Bernard Whyte.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions funeral services will be private.
