With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carmela (Ferraro) Mercier (Saugus, Massachusetts), who passed away on August 28, 2024 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carmela (Ferraro) Mercier to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Raffaele Carpinelli and Robert Mercier; her parents, Natale Ferraro and Maria Ferraro (Sainato); her granddaughter Melissa Ferraro; and her siblings, Rosina, Salvatore, Giuseppe, Elisabetta, Francesco, Caterina, Rocco and Immacolata.
She is survived by: her children, Rosemary Jacobs (Don) of Saugus, Ralph Carpinelli (Carla) of Peabody and James Carpinelli (Cecelia) of Saugus; her grandchildren, Joseph Ferraro, Marina Tucker (Paul), Ralph Carpinelli, Anthony Carpinelli (Alexa), Domenic Carpinelli, James Carpinelli and Jennifer Carpinelli; her great grandchildren, Natale, Alexa, Maria Ferraro, Kylie, PJ Tucker, Leilani and Anthony Carpinelli; her stepchildren, Guy Mercier and Lea Simard; and her sister-in-law Elisabetta of Canada. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home (549 Lincoln Ave, Saugus, MA 01906). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (133 Beach St, Revere, MA 02151).
