She was predeceased by: her husband William B. Merrithew, Sr.; her parents, Elgin M. Ludwig and Helen M. Ludwig (Kennedy); and her children, Heather and William, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Helen McCormack (Robert) of Groveland and Nancy Butt (Gary) of Saugus; her daughter-in-law Janice of Saugus; her grandchildren, Jill, Gary, Billy, Casey, Heather and Matthew; her great grandchildren, Kara, Briana, Shane, Seth, Carley, Cameron, Joshua, Olivia and Jackson; her great great grandchildren, Kaleigh and Chase; and her sister Marjorie Taatjes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
