He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter J. Fagnant and Rose Fagnant (Delaney); his sister-in-law Ida Sabatino (Gauteiri); his sisters, Annette (Dick Playter) and Terry (Joe Lewis); his brother-in-law Michael Sabatino, Jr.; and his son-in-law Scott Johnson.

He is survived by: his wife Ida; his children, Walter Jr., Kim (Slade), Michele Maloney, Linda Johnson, Patricia Mondello, Richard, Jennie (Colombo), Michael and Joanne (Levine); and his sisters-in-law, Carol Renzi and Elizabeth Sabatino. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren.
