He was predeceased by: his parents, Loring Archibald and Winifred Archibald; and his stepmother Dolores Archibald. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn J. (Douglass); his sister Carol Goodcuff (Bob) of Stuart, FL.; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Carey, Bridgewater, Ruth Meucci of Sandwich and Donna Sassone (Dick) of Pocasset. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
