She was predeceased by: her parents, John Doherty and Mary Doherty (Lynch); and her brothers, Dr. Philip Doherty, Joseph Doherty and Daniel Doherty.

She is survived by: her husband Raymond Cormier; her children, Paul Cormier of Lynn, Andrew Cormier of Sandwich, Anne Wyman (Hugh) of Medford and Laurie Ruszala (Paul) of Sandwich; her siblings, Sheila Scannell (Bob) of Bridgewater, Ellen Platt (Ryan) of Walnut Creek, CA, Jean Nieswand (Steve) of Virginia Beach, VA and Thomas Doherty (Kathy) of Marshfield; her sisters-in-law, Patricia Doherty of Walpole, Barbara Doherty of Billerica and Bernadette Doherty of Arlington; and her grandchildren, Jane, Thomas, Laura, Claire, Lucy, Joseph and Raymond. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society in her name.
