Marian E. Gmeiner Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2024, at the age of 102, Marian E. Gmeiner (Sandwich, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clare Aden and Jennie Pearl Loar Porter; and her brother Aden Walter Porter. She is survived by: her children, Sallie J. Gmeiner (Richard Bernier) of East Taunton, MA, John P. Gmeiner (Faye) of Kennebunk, ME and James L. Gmeiner (Adrienne) of Groton, MA; her grandchildren, Joshua H. Gmeiner (Krista) of Adams, MA, Sarah B. Gmeiner (Halley) of South Hadley, MA and Julia T. Gmeiner (Joshua Wurzman) of Southbury, CT; her nephews, Aden Wayne Porter of Blissfield, MI and Jon Fransen of Takoma Park, MD.; and her niece Barbara Russell of Quincy, MI.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the First Church (136 Main St, Sandwich, MA 02563).
