Janet W. Garfield Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet W. Garfield of Sandwich, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 25, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Janet has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wilson and Alda Wilson (Morrissey); her husband Bruce Hamilton Garfield; and her brothers, Cliff and Roger Wilson.

She is survived by: her children, Scott Garfield (Monica) of Wellesley and Kristen Garfield Urribarri (Jaime) of East Sandwich; and her grandchildren, Korinna Garfield, Cameron Garfield, Luke Urribarri and Bennett Urribarri.

Janet's children wish to thank the wonderful staff at both Keystone Place Assisted Living in Buzzards Bay and AdviniaCare Newton Wellesley Center for Alzheimer's for the care and support they provided Janet over the last five years.
