He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Mary Mahoney, Jr. (Shepard); and his sister Theresa Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Susan M. Plosinski; his daughters, Michelle Johnson (Andrew) of Hanover, MA and Kimberly Gallagher (James) of Kingston, MA; his siblings, Sheila Cosette, Kevin Mahoney and Joseph Mahoney; and his grandchildren, James Gallagher, Stephen Gallagher, Ryan Gallagher and Aaron Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jimmy's memory may be made to the Humane Society, Tunnel to Towers Foundation, or a charity of one's choice.
