He was predeceased by : his mother Mona Coombs III (Buck); and his brother Jeffrey. He is survived by : his wife Pamela-Sue; his children, Charles B. Coombs V (Kristin) and Nora of Winthrop, MA.; his father Charles B. Coombs III of Pocasset, MA; his siblings, Lauren Murphy (Harry) of Boston, MA, Doug (Dawn) of Abington, MA and William (Randy) of Boston, MA; and his sister-in-law Christie Coombs of Abington, MA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

A masonic service will be held on Wednesday, July 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home (154 MA-6A, Sandwich, MA 02563). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 10th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John's Episcopal Church (159 Main St, Sandwich, MA 02563).
