He was predeceased by: his siblings, Genevieve Buia and Henry Makarewicz. He is survived by: his son Mark Makarewicz (Joan E.); his grandchildren, Melissa Sue Makarewicz of Dracut, Mark Makarewicz, Jr. (Sarah) and Nicholas Makarewicz of Dracut; his great grandchildren, Sadie Elizabeth Makarewicz and Owen John Makarewicz of Litchfield, NH.; his sister Shirley Kirk; and his sister-in-law Rose Grasso of Salisbury. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
