He is survived by: his children, Laurie McCarter of Beverly, Brett McCarter (Erin) of Danvers, Paul McCarter (Sue) of Georgetown, Robin McCarter and Wife Eileen of Methuen; and his siblings, Dale McCarter (Phyllis) of Stoughton and Janet Laffey of Onset. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren.
