She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Benson and Virginia Jahnle (Carleton); and her siblings, Annette Swartz, Ed Vitagliano and Al Vitagliano.

She is survived by: her significant other Ronald MacPherson; her children, Ronald MacPherson, Jr. (Cindy) of Peabody, Rhonda Maserian (Lee) of Haverhill, Debra Vetrano (Frank) of Meredith, NH and Jodi O'Connor (Tim) of Methuen; her grandchildren, Jenna Kirmes (Mike), Kayla Tonello (Alex), Jay Maserian, Craig McMahon, Katie McMahon, Kevin McMahon, Jessica Vetrano (John Caruso), Michael Vetrano (Abby Lines), Meghan O'Connor (Jake Wesoja) and Danny O'Connor; and her great grandchildren, Kenzie Kirmes, Lucas O'Connor and Dominic Wesoja.
